franzeskaOK, so I spent CON.TXT pimping Miami Vice and The Losers and Piratas, but I've been meaning to pester everyone about Wiseguy too. There's a communal watching of the first arc going on with communities on Dreamwidth and Livejournal. They're only a couple of episodes in, and the whole arc is only ~10 hours.
Slashers, you owe it to yourselves to watch at least that first arc. It's what would happen if those mafia AUs every fandom seems to spawn were fantastically written, featured an undercover agent and a lot of moral ambiguity, and ended like Greek tragedy. (Yeah, yeah, I know, spoiler, but most of Wiseguy is full of Tragedy with a captial T; it's worth warning for.)
Seriously, anyone who has ever loved a charismatic mobster character in anything ever: you need to see this show.
